UT Martin DB Aaron Webb Transfers To MVSU

Former UT Martin defensive back Aaron Webb announced his transfer to Mississippi Valley State. He will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Delta Devils.

Webb saw action in 21 games over two seasons at UT Martin. He helped the Skyhawks win back-to-back OVC championships and a win over Missouri State in the first round of the FCS playoffs in 2021. He accounted for 19 total tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and one interception for the Skyhawks.

Webb played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College after signing out of Pattonville High School. He totaled 44 tackles and two interceptions as a senior at Pattonville.

3-Star TE Jett Zabel Commits To North Dakota State

Three-star tight end Jett Zabel announced his commitment to North Dakota State. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound tight end is from T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, South Dakota. 

Zabel is the No. 2 player in the state of South Dakota and ranks as the No. 35 tight end in the class of 2024. He held offers from Pittsburgh, Memphis, Army, Ball State, and Coastal Carolina. Following Zabel’s commitment, North Dakota State’s 2024 class ranks No. 91 nationally, according to 247Sports

Zabel earned All-State and All-Conference honors last season as a junior. He finished the season with 54 receptions for 842 receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns. He helped lead T.F. Riggs to an undefeated season and a South Dakota state championship. 



2024 WR Devin Hester Jr. Commits To Furman

2024 wide receiver Devin Hester Jr. announced his commitment to Furman. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound wide receiver is from Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, Georgia. He committed to the Paladins over offers from Appalachian State, Kent State, Liberty, and Wake Forest. 

Hester earned first-team Region 8-4A All-Region, first-team All-Area, and first-team All-State honors last season as a junior. He finished the season with 50 receptions, 953 receiving yards, 508 return yards, and 16 total touchdowns. 

Hester was named an All-State honorable mention as a sophomore after totaling 37 receptions for 483 receiving yards, 301 return yards, and seven total touchdowns. He joins Tampa (Fla.) Catholic quarterback Trey Hedden III in a loaded 2024 class for the Paladins. 



JUCO WR Dallas Parker Transfers To Western Illinois

Former Reedley College wide receiver Dallas Parker announced his commitment to Western Illinois. He will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Leathernecks. The 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver is from Silverado High School in Victorville, California. 

Parker saw action in 15 games over two seasons for the Tigers. He averaged 30.3 yards per catch over two seasons, including 25.5 yards per catch as a true freshman in 2021. He had a career game against Chabot in 2022 with five receptions for 69 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.

Parker finished his career with 29 receptions for 454 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns. He averaged 22.0 yards per kick return and totaled 60 return yards as a punt returner last season.
