Former 4-Star ATH Transfers To Bethune-Cookman

Former Temple athlete Iverson Clement announced his commitment to Bethune-Cookman. He will have three years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Wildcats. 

Clement has played multiple positions throughout his collegiate career but saw action as a cornerback at Temple. He played in 13 games over three seasons at Florida before his transfer to Temple before the 2021 season. He totaled 94 rushing yards and averaged 7.8 yards per carry for the Gators. 

Clement signed with the Gators as a four-star prospect out of Mount Holly, New Jersey. He was the No. 16 athlete and No. 7 player in the state of New Jersey in the class of 2o18. He finished his high school career with 3,404 rushing yards and 46 rushing touchdowns.  



2024 All-Metro QB Robert Battle Commits To Lindenwood

2024 quarterback Robert Battle announced his commitment to Lindenwood on Friday. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound quarterback is from East St. Louis High School in Saint Louis, Illinois. 

Battle led East St. Louis to the Illinois Class 6A state championship last season with a 12-2 record. He finished his junior season with 2,123 passing yards, 23 passing touchdowns, 733 rushing yards, and 11 rushing touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Metro honors for the second consecutive season and was named first-team All-Conference. 

As a sophomore, Battle totaled 2,847 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 390 rushing yards, and eight rushing touchdowns. He stepped into the starting role as a freshman during the six-game spring season. Battle completed over 65.0 percent of passes for 1,460 yards and 13 passing touchdowns as he helped East St. Louis finish the season 5-1. 



Former Marshall RB Transfers To Charleston Southern

Former Marshall running back Isaiah Gordon announced his transfer to Charleston Southern. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Buccaneers. 

Gordon saw action in two games as a true freshman last season. He signed with Marshall as a three-star prospect out of Daytona Beach, Florida. He held offers from UCF, USF, Illinois, Florida Atlantic, and Georgia Southern. Gordon was the No. 77 athlete and No. 143 player in the state of Florida in the class of 2022.

Gordon finished his senior season with 741 rushing yards and 16 total touchdowns. He earned second-team All-Area honors in 2018 as a freshman after rushing for 831 yards and six touchdowns. 



Former Liberty DB Antwon Jackson Commits To Samford

Former Liberty defensive back Antwon Jackson announced his transfer to Samford. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Bulldogs. 

Jackson signed with Liberty as a three-star prospect out of Warner Robins, Georgia. He redshirted his first season for the Flames and did not see any action in 2022. He was the No. 93 cornerback and No. 119 player in the state of Georgia in the class of 2022, according to ESPN. 

Jackson earned All-Region honors in back-to-back seasons and helped lead Warner Robins to multiple state championships. He earned preseason first-team All-State honors as a senior. He finished his senior season with five interceptions and eight pass breakups.
