2024 3-Star Safety Eric Lee Commits To New Hampshire

Three-star safety Eric Lee announced his commitment to New Hampshire on Wednesday. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He held offers from Penn State, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Cincinnati. 

Lee is the No. 838 overall prospect and No. 85 safety in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 15 safety and No. 113 player in the state of Florida, according to the On3 industry rankings

Lee played his first two seasons at Camden Woodrow Wilson in New Jersey before his transfer to IMG Academy. As a sophomore in 2021, Lee totaled 50 tackles, eight tackles for loss, six pass breakups, two sacks, and one defensive touchdown. 



2024 RB Jor’dyn Whitelaw Commits To William & Mary

2024 running back Jor’dyn Whitelaw announced his commitment to William & Mary. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound running back is from Brookville High School in Lynchburg, Virginia. 

Whitelaw earned All-District and All-Region honors last season. He finished his junior season with 1,530 total yards, 7.2 yards per carry, and 10 total touchdowns. 

Whitelaw will join a loaded running back room for the Tribe, including Malachi Imoh and Mattijs Lasore. All-American running back Bronson Yoder will graduate after the 2023 season and the Tribe lost running back Donavyn Lester to the transfer portal this offseason. 



All-State WR Jack Smith Commits To South Dakota State

2024 wide receiver Jack Smith announced his commitment to South Dakota State. The 6-foot, 180-pound wide receiver is from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Smith set the 11AAA state record with 1,346 receiving yards and 89 receptions as a junior last season. His 15 receiving touchdowns rank fourth all-time in 11AAA state history. He had a career performance against Rapid City Stevens after totaling 21 receptions for 377 receiving yards and four touchdowns. 

Smith was named to the Argus Leader’s Elite 45, which is one of the highest honors high school players can receive in the state of South Dakota. He also earned first-team All-State and All-Metro Conference honors.



Greg Stewart Named Central Arkansas Defensive Coordinator

Central Arkansas head coach Nathan Brown announced the return of Greg Stewart as the defensive coordinator for the Bears. Stewart served as the defensive coordinator at Central Arkansas from 2014-17 before accepting the same role at South Alabama. 

Under Stewart, the Bears ranked top-10 nationally in defensive touchdowns and tackles for loss over his final two seasons. He helped lead Central Arkansas to a 24-3 conference record, including a 2017 conference championship, and two appearances in the FCS playoffs. He returned to Central Arkansas in 2021 and has served as the defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator. 

Stewart previously served as the defensive coordinator at Jacksonville State from 1999-2010. He placed over 30 players on All-Conference teams after joining the Ohio Valley Conference in 2003 and coached 13 FCS All-Americans.
