History Of The MEAC/SWAC Challenge

Jackson State will face South Carolina State in the 18th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday (Aug. 26) at 7:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.

The MEAC/SWAC Challenge began in 2005 and is played annually on Labor Day Weekend. The MEAC holds an 11-5 advantage over the SWAC, including a five-game win streak from 2011-15. South Carolina State is 3-1 and Jackson State is 0-2 in the season-opening series.
