History Of The FCS Kickoff Game

Mercer will face North Alabama in the ninth annual FCS Kickoff game at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday (Aug. 26) at 3:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN. 

The FCS Kickoff was played on-campus for the first three seasons but moved to a neutral site in 2017. The Cramton Bowl has hosted the game for the past five seasons. Jacksonville State and North Dakota State are the only two teams to participate in the game in multiple seasons. The Big Sky is 2-0 in the FCS Kickoff game. The MEAC and ASUN are each 1-0, while the MVFC is 2-1 in the conference’s three appearances.
