Harvard DB Khalil Dawsey Transfers To Delaware

Former Harvard defensive back Khalil Dawsey announces his commitment to Delaware. He will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Blue Hens. Dawsey made an official visit to both Delaware and North Dakota State after entering the portal.

Dawsey was named an All-Ivy League and All-New England honorable mention in 2022. He finished the season with 29 tackles, two tackles for loss, and seven pass breakups. Dawsey only played in five games in 2021 but finished the season with two interceptions and four pass breakups.

He signed with Harvard out of Birmingham Groves in Detriot, Michigan. He earned All-State, All-North, All-Conference, and All-League honors in 2018 after leading the state of Michigan in interceptions. 

CB Ivan Yates Announces Return To Furman

Furman cornerback Ivan Yates announced his intentions to return to Furman and withdraw his name from the transfer portal. 

Yates played in all 13 games last season for Furman and has seen action in 24 total games over three seasons. He finished the 2022 season with 35 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one interception, seven pass breakups, and one forced fumble. 

He signed with the Paladins over multiple FBS programs out of Roswell, Georgia in 2020. He helped lead Roswell to the Region 4-AAAAAAA championship in 2019. 

UIW DL Olivier Charles-Pierre Signs With CFL

Former Incarnate Word defensive lineman Olivier Charles-Pierre signed with the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League. 

Charles-Pierre played in 13 games for the Cardinals as a graduate transfer last season. He finished the season with 37 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble. Charles-Pierre spent three seasons at Houston before transferring to Incarnate Word.

He signed with the Cougars out of New Mexico Military Institute. He was named a 2018 Preseason Junior College All-American and earned All-Southwest JUCO Conference honors. 

Stony Brook DL Dakar Edwards Transfers To FAMU

Former Stony Brook defensive lineman Dakar Edwards announced his commitment to Florida A&M. He will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Rattlers.

Edwards finished the 2022 season with 30 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, and one forced fumble. He saw action in 23 games over three seasons for the Seawolves. 

He committed to Florida A&M over offers from Missouri State, South Dakota, Southern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, and multiple other FCS programs.
