Cincinnati CB Jonah Lytle Transfers To MVSU

Former Cincinnati cornerback Jonah Lytle announced his commitment to Mississippi Valley State. He will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Delta Devils.

He saw limited action for the Bearcats over his two seasons, including being redshirted during the 2021 season.

Lytle signed with Cincinnati out of McKinley High School in 2021. He was a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 131 cornerback in the class of 2021. He was a top-60 player in the state of Ohio and held offers from Cincinnati and Toledo. 

ETSU WR Isaiah Wilson Transfers To Richmond

Former East Tennessee State wide receiver Isaiah Wilson announced his transfer to Richmond. He will have two years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Spiders. 

Wilson emerged as a top target for the Bucs in 2022. He finished the season with 31 receptions for 403 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He ranked second on the team for receptions and third for receiving touchdowns and receiving yards. Wilson finished his ETSU career with 60 receptions for 755 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

He signed with ETSU out of Norcross High School in 2019. He finished his senior year with over 1,000 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns. 

Tennessee WR Nigel Lanier Commits To Grambling

Former Tennessee wide receiver Nigel Lanier announced his transfer to Grambling State. Lanier will have three years of eligibility remaining at Grambling State.

Lanier committed to Tennessee as a preferred walk-on during Josh Heupel’s first season. He finished the 2023 Orange & White Game with two receptions for 17 yards. 

He committed to Tennessee out of North Jackson High School in 2021. Lanier finished his senior season with 28 receptions, 573 receiving yards, 11 total touchdowns and averaged 20.5 yards per reception. 

Former NAIA DL Gardy Paul Commits To Austin Peay

Indiana Wesleyan defensive lineman Gardy Paul announced his commitment to Austin Peay. He will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Governors. 

Paul was a three-time second-team All-Conference selection over the three seasons for the Wildcats. He helped the Wildcats win two MSFA Conference Championships. He finished his career with 64 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries. 

In high school, Paul was a first-team All-Area and second-team All-Florida selection. He finished his senior season with 47 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss and five sacks. He helped lead St. John Neumann Catholic to an undefeated regular season.
