Walker is a consensus 3-star prospect out of Ramsey, NJ and ranks as a Top-30 player in the state of New Jersey. Last season Walker totaled 2 receiving touchdowns and averaged over 19 yards per catch for the season. He was named as a standout at the Roman’s Soldiers Showcase this offseason and was selected for the All-Northeast Spotlight.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound wide receiver held offers from Duke, UMass, and multiple other FCS programs. He will join 3-star Ernest Thomas and 3-star Elijah Rogers as wide reciever commitments for the Camels in the Class of 2023. Walker excels in his footwork and route running, which makes him a matchup nightmare for most defensive backs. His ability to make plays at all levels of the field is going to be a much needed addition to the Campbell offense.

Boatwright is a 3-star prospect out of Ecorse, MI and has been one of the hottest names on the camp circuit this offseason. He is a two-time All-State selection and was named Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore at Ecorse High School. The 5-foot-11, 155-pound defensive back has elite athleticism and does an excellent job of making plays in the defensive backfield.

Boatwright held offers from Army, Bowling Green, Duke, and multiple other FBS programs before announcing his commitment to Campbell. He will join Makhi Connor, Dane Reed, and Rashawn Carr as defensive commitments for the Camels in the Class of 2023. Secondary is a major need for the Camels as six defensive backs graduate after the 2022 season.

The Campbell 2023 recruiting class now ranks 82nd in the country and the Camels hold a significant lead over the rest of the FCS in the recruiting rankings. The 2023 class ranks above multiple top FBS programs including Appalachian State, Arizona State, Coastal Carolina, and Louisiana-Lafayette. There is a not a hotter team on the recruiting trail at the FCS level right now and Mike Minter looks to build upon a record-setting class last season.
