2023 NFL Combine: Tucker Kraft By The Numbers

South Dakota State tight end Tucker Kraft began on-field testing on Saturday at the 2023 NFL Combine. 

Kraft measured in at 6-foot-5, 254-pounds, 10-inch hands and 32 3/4-inch arms. 

He posted the 7th-best 40-yard dash (4.69 seconds) among tight ends on Saturday. His 10-yard split of 1.59 seconds was tied for 5th-best among tight ends. He continued to show his athleticism with a 4.29-second 20-yard shuttle, which ranked 5th among tight ends.

Kraft showed his strength with his 23 reps on the bench press on Sunday, which ranked No. 1 among tight ends. Brenton Strange (Penn State), Zack Kuntz (Old Dominion) and Kraft all finished with 23 reps for tight ends. 

His 7.08-second 3-cone drill was third-best among tight ends who attempted the drill. Kraft posted a 10’2″ broad jump, which ranked 7th for his positional group. His vertical jump (34-inches) ranked 9th-best for tight ends at the NFL combine.

Tucker Kraft ended the 2023 NFL Combine with an estimated athleticism score of 82, which ranks 7th among all tight ends that participated at the combine, according to NFL.com. His relative athletic score (RAS) of 9.58 out of 10 was one of the best scores for a tight end in the 2023 NFL Draft class. Kraft is receiving projections to be a Day-2 selection in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.
