2023 NFL Combine: McClendon Curtis By The Numbers

Chattanooga offensive lineman McClendon Curtis began on-field testing on Saturday at the 2023 NFL Combine. 

Curtis measured in at 6-foot-6, 324-pounds, 10 1/4-inch hands and 35-inch arms. He received an elite composite size grade and had an almost perfect height grade (9.59 out of 10). 

He posted a 7.70-second 3-cone drill, which was 11th-best among all offensive linemen at the NFL Combine. His broad jump (8’9″) was top-25 among his positional group. 

Curtis was clocked with an official 5.24 40-yard dash, which ranked 22nd among all offensive linemen. His 10-yard split of 1.85 seconds was 27th-best among offensive linemen who attempted the 40-yard dash. He also recorded a 4.97-second 20-yard shuttle. 

He finished on-field drills on Monday at the NFL Combine as he ranked 16th among offensive linemen in the bench press (25 reps). 

McClendon Curtis ended the 2023 NFL Combine with an estimated athleticism score of 73, which ranks 8th among all offensive guards that participated at the combine, according to NFL.com. His relative athletic score (RAS) of 7.78 out of 10 ranked 292 out of over 1,300 offensive guards since 1987.

Curtis was also an honorable mention on the 2023 All-Combine Team by NFL.com.
