3-Star QB Christopher Martin Commits To Alcorn State

2024 quarterback Christopher Martin announced his commitment to Alcorn State. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound quarterback is from Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia. He committed to the Braves over offers from Georgia Tech, Troy, Georgia Southern, UConn, Yale, and Alabama State.

Martin ranks as the No. 107 quarterback and No. 155 player in the state of Georgia, according to On3 Sports. Martin was ranked the No. 2 top performer at the Hotlist Camp in Atlanta, Georiga. He was also selected to participate in the Elite 11 Regionals this spring. 

Martin earned first-team All-Region honors and was an All-State honorable mention. He led Region 1-6AAAAAA in passing yards during the 2021 season after finishing the season with 25 passing touchdowns.



3-Star EDGE Nyreek Clyburn Commits To Maine

2024 edge rusher Nyreek Clyburn announced his commitment to Maine on Thursday. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound EDGE is from Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey.

Clyburn ranks as the No. 87 EDGE and No. 26 player in the state of New Jersey, according to the On3 industry rankings. He committed to the Black Bears over offers from Syracuse, Kent State, Liberty, Ole Miss, Rutgers, and Temple. He is the second-highest-rated commit in Maine history and is only the fourth 3-star to commit to the Black Bears.

Clyburn earned first-team All-North Jersey honors as a sophomore. He finished the season with 23 total tackles and eight sacks. After his junior season, he was named to the SFC All-Division Team and All-Group 5 Team. 



2024 QB JP Pickles Commits To Austin Peay

2024 quarterback JP Pickles announced his commitment to Austin Peay. The 6-foot-1, 198-pound quarterback is from North Florida Christian High School in Tallahassee, Florida. He committed to the Governors over offers from Kent State, Charlotte, Samford, and William & Mary. 

Pickles finished his junior season with 3,382 passing yards, 39 passing touchdowns, 620 rushing yards, and nine rushing touchdowns. He was named the Florida 1S Player of the Year and earned first-team All-Big Bend honors. He was also selected as the Offensive Player of the Year by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club.

As a sophomore, Pickles recorded 3,211 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns, 115 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns. He finished with a Top-10 athletic rating at the Elite 11 Regional in Atlanta, Georgia in May.



Murray State Lands 2024 DL Mason Burke

2024 defensive lineman Mason Burke announced his commitment to Murray State. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive lineman is from Holt High School in Wentzville, Missouri. He committed to the Racers over interest from Western Illinois, Wyoming, Northern Illinois, and Lindenwood. 

Burke ranks as the No. 206 defensive lineman and No. 30 player in the state of Missouri, according to 247Sports. He earned second-team GAC All-Conference honors after helping Holt win the conference championship. 

Burke finished his junior season with 58 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, six sacks, two touchdowns, and four fumble recoveries. He also saw playing time on offense and recorded 156 rushing yards, one touchdown, and averaged 4.9 yards per carry.
